  • 1.00pm Touring Druskininkai – walking along Vilnius g. – along the way a wooden Orthodox church from 1865, neo-gothic church of the Virgin Mary of the Scapular designed by the prominent architect from Warsaw, S. Szyller, the park on the Druskonis lake, a walk in the valley of the Rotniczanka river until its outlet into the Neman River

Vilnus – schedule:

  • 5.00am departure from Dolistowo
  • 9.00am arrival at Trakai – visiting the castle, tasting the kibinai – a Karaite pastry
  • 12.00 noon arrival in Vilnus – sightseeing (suggested)
    •  the Rasos Cemetary (one of the oldest cemeteries in Europe – 1790). The resting place of the mother of the Marshal J. Piłsudski along with his heart. At the cemetery are also buried J. Lelewel, W. Syrokomla, prominent personages of Polish science and culture.
    • the St. Peter and St. Paul church in Vilnus (the most beautiful baroque church in Europe)
    • The Three Crosses (history, panorama of the city)
    • The St. Teresa Church and the Chapel housing the Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn painting
  •     Departure at approximately 7:00pm – return to Dolistowo at about 11:00pm
